Overview

Key West Historic Inns is seeking an experienced and service-drivenOvernight Manager to oversee hotel operations during the overnight hours across our collection of historic boutique inns. Serving as the Manager on Duty, this role is responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience while overseeing front office operations, Night Audit, and supporting Food & Beverage operations as needed. The Overnight Manager works closely with department leaders to ensure the hotel operates efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.

This position is responsible for completing nightly financial and operational reporting, monitoring labor and revenue reports, supporting team member scheduling and training, responding to guest concerns, coordinating overnight operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable health and sanitation regulations. The Overnight Manager provides hands-on leadership throughout the shift, assisting both guests and team members as needed while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment and ensuring the property is prepared for a successful start to each new day.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in hotel Front Office, Night Audit, or a related hospitality discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, Night Audit procedures, cash handling, and financial reconciliation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to independently manage overnight operations, motivate team members, and make sound operational decisions.
  • Strong organizational, time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with guests, team members, and leadership.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies, hotel operating procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local employment and hospitality regulations.
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office, and general computer applications.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • College-level reasoning, mathematical, and language skills preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
