Payroll Coordinator - Groton, CT
Our client, an organization in the education sector, is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support payroll administration, employee benefits activities, and related administrative functions. This role involves maintaining accurate employee records, processing payroll information, assisting with benefits enrollment, and ensuring timely and accurate data management.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll-related data and support payroll administration activities.
• Review and maintain employee time and attendance records.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and benefits-related recordkeeping.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and benefits matters.
• Maintain accurate employee records and supporting documentation.
• Support reporting, audits, and administrative projects as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Assist with system updates and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of payroll, benefits, HR, or related administrative experience.
• Experience with payroll processing and timekeeping systems required.
• Experience with benefits enrollment or benefits administration preferred.
