About the Position
We are searching for a Plumbing Designer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in MEP Plumbing Engineering and is eager to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, you will contribute to the success of multidisciplinary teams working across a wide range of projects, including federal, municipal, commercial, and industrial sectors. Design projects will span multiple markets and geographies, offering the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and enhance your skills in plumbing and MEP systems design. We are seeking an independent self-starter who can move efficiently through various design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation. This role offers a great opportunity to further your career while contributing to diverse, challenging projects.

Experience and Qualifications

• 8+ years of plumbing experience in a MEP environment
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM
• EIT or PE certification is a plus
• Managerial experience and the ability to mentor junior team members is a plus
• Familiarity with Unified Facility Criteria and its implementation in federal and DoD/state projects is a plus
• Experience developing detailed specifications using CSI or SpecsIntact software is a plus
• Knowledge of domestic water, storm, sanitary, and venting system design is a plus
• Experience in construction cost estimating and life cycle cost analysis is a plus
• Ability to work well within a team environment, demonstrate a positive attitude, and multi-task effectively
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
