Position: Product Development Coordinator, OXO
Department: Product Development
Work Location: New York, NY, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with theoptionto work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. What you will be doing:
The Product Development Coordinator is a key member of the OXO Product Development (PD) team and is often the point person for cross functional teams that need PD assistance. This person will be responsible for supporting the Cooking Tools and Gadget and Baking. They will also support the PD teams on day-to-day requests and work closely with many cross functional teams such as Sales, Go to Market, and Brand Design to support product launches.
In this role, they will become an expert on their team's catalog of products as well as begin to learn the ins and outs of OXO's product development process, jumping into support on color changes, packaging projects and eventually New Product Development (NPD) projects.

Sample Management: Manage and coordinate product samples for sample requests from cross-functional teams such as Sales, Go to Market, and Brand Design, for video and photo shoots, and for industry trade shows. Ensure samples are accurate, clearly labeled and timely shipped and all teams are informed of progress and status.

Product Data Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain product information in systems and documents like Salsify, Xinet, Oracle, Smartsheet, Basecamp, and First Articles of Inspection (FAI), ensuring that details are accurate and complete for item creation, setup, and versioning. Provide product information to Sales and Direct-to-Consumer teams for new item setup for their customers and on OXO.com.

Packaging Artwork Verification: Conduct thorough checks of barcode's, item numbers, and UPCs on packaging artwork files prior to production release. Confirm that all information is filled out in Basecamp to ensure timely release and compliance with standards.

Consumer Service Support: Act as a communication bridge between OXO Product teams and Consumer Service (CS) team to familiarize CS with new products and product changes, and prepare them with responses for all consumer questions.

User Testing and Research: Maintain a user testing database, record notes for in-person user testing conducted by Product Teams, and leverage tools like Profitero, Survey Monkey and Dscout to gather competitive data and user insights for New Product Development projects.

Assistance with PD Projects: Support product development projects such as packaging changes, color updates, and NPD initiatives by joining project meetings and assisting with elements of a project that would require daily communication and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Industrial Design, Brand Design, Sales, Supply Chain and the Helen of Troy Asia Pacific Office (APO), and external partners such as Design Firms and overseas factories.

Product Team Support: Maintain and schedule team meeting and store visits. Regularly review and direct inventor submissions for new products to the appropriate team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of experience in Product Development or relevant field
- Computer software: MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle
- Database systems knowledge
In New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $57,000 - $67,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
