Job Description
Position Purpose:
Responsible for final inspection of brake shoes and stacking brake shoes onto a pallet
Hourly Pay Range: $16.75 - $19.75
Essential Functions:
- Removes weld spatter and inspects paint coverage
- Stack shoes onto pallet and fills out part labels
- Maintains Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace
- Always keep work area clean
- always work in a safe manner
- Demonstrate dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
- Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to follow simple instructions
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs with minimal walking
- Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
- Ability to work in tight places
- Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
- Ear and Eye protection is always required in production areas
- Exposure to a noisy work environment
- Exposure to hot and humid conditions
- Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always required
