Program Manager

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Program Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing management of one or more multi-year programs within a business unit. This role focuses on driving internal execution, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring structured, scalable delivery of program initiatives.

The Program Manager partners closely with Product, IT, Digital, Data, and Operations teams to define roadmaps, manage timelines, and implement consistent delivery processes. This role emphasizes operational excellence, program governance, and execution discipline across complex, interdependent workstreams.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Lead end-to-end program execution, coordinating multiple workstreams and ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage program roadmaps, including key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables aligned to business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and tracking mechanisms to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Product, IT, Digital, Data, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Define and implement structured delivery processes, including governance frameworks, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure operational readiness by aligning systems, processes, data flows, and resources prior to deployment.
  • Oversee program implementation activities, including system setup, workflow configuration, data integration, testing (UAT), and release management.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and lead mitigation strategies across teams.
  • Facilitate regular program reviews, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated capability to independently design and work with people or implement AI-enabled agents (e.g., via Microsoft Copilot) that automate routine workflows, improve cross-functional coordination, and enhance decision support across complex programs.
  • Ability to improve the process and identify efficiencies through AI and Automation opportunities.
  • Strong digital and AI fluency, with the ability to translate operational needs into automated solutions through Copilot-based agent development and workflow optimization.
  • Translate business and operational needs into structured execution plans, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
  • Support internal stakeholder alignment by maintaining clear documentation, communication, and reporting standards.
  • Provide structured reporting and insights on program status, timelines, risks, and outcomes to leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences:
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Healthcare and payer experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to independently design and implement AI-enabled agents (e.g., via Microsoft Copilot) that automate routine workflows, improve cross-functional coordination, and enhance decision support across complex programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting strict timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering structured program reporting and executive-ready presentations.
  • Experience supporting product communication, positioning, and market rollout efforts.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $106,628 to $159,942.
