Project Manager | Sage 100

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sage 100 Project Manager to lead the delivery of Sage 100 ERP implementation and upgrade projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, deep familiarity with Sage 100, and excellent communication and leadership skills. This individual will manage the full project life cycle, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and manage Sage 100 ERP implementation, upgrade, and support projects for clients across various industries.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the client, internal consultants, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Facilitate project kick-off meetings, requirements workshops, and regular status updates to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, facilitating timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Oversee project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and training materials.
• Ensure projects adhere to established methodologies and best practices, driving delivery excellence and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate user training and support, ensuring a successful transition and user adoption post-go-live.
• Foster strong client relationships, focusing on customer satisfaction and long-term partnership.
• Mentor and guide junior project team members as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field; PMP or other project management certification preferred.
  
• 3+ years of experience managing ERP projects, with at least 2 years focused on Sage 100 implementations or upgrades.
  
• Strong understanding of Sage 100 functionality, configuration, and integration.
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, consulting environment.
  
• Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  
• Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role is highly desirable.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
• Must possess analytical skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
