Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Control Electrical Inspector in Huntington Beach, CA.
As a Quality Control Electrical Inspector, you will:
- Perform testing and inspection of electrical components and assemblies for defects in assembly, soldering, crimping, wiring, stripping, and bonding
- Document inspection results and write inspection reports and nonconformance reports
- Ensure quality standards are understood, maintained, and adhered to throughout the production process
- Inspect and record electrical, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics of products at various stages of production
- Inspect and calibrate precision measuring equipment using NIST-traceable calibration standards
- Verify proper packaging of electrical products for shipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during testing and inspection
- Collaborate with production team members to solve quality or process issues
This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: 6:30am - 3:30pm - Monday - Friday (plus overtime as needed including Saturdays)
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years of experience in electrical inspection or testing
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform electrical testing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
Pay Rate $26.00 - $27.00 Per Hour DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
