Volt is immediately hiring for a QC Line Inspector in Huntington Beach, CA.

As a QC Line Inspector, you will:

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections
  

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on aviation parts
  

• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and dial indicators
  

• Inspect parts to visual and cosmetic standards
  

• Prepare inspection and nonconformance reports
  

• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action processes
  

• Review supplier certifications for compliance
  

• Collect inspection data for statistical analysis
  

• Interpret tolerances including GD&T requirements
  

• Travel as required to support supplier inspections or audits
  

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 6:30am to 3pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED
  

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  

• Experience using precision measuring tools
  

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  

• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing a plus
  

• CMM and/or FARO experience is a plus
  

• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus
  

Pay Rate: $ 25.00- $27.00 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
