Registered Nurse (Contract)
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts | 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correct patient identification, safe positioning, and continuous monitoring.
- Maintain a sterile, aseptic, and safe operative environment.
- Serve as circulator and/or scrub nurse depending on surgical requirements.
- Coordinate supplies, equipment, and workflow for efficient OR operations.
- Document nursing care and provide thorough handoffs to recovery teams.
- Participate in emergency responses when necessary.
- Active Washington State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS (AHA) required; ACLS within 3 months of hire
- Minimum 2 years perioperative nursing experience (scrub or circulate)
- Familiarity with AORN standards of practice
