The Role
The Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) as a key member of our Geospatial and Surveying group, you'll play an essential role in supporting field and office operations across a variety of energy infrastructure and industrial projects-primarily in the oil and gas sector.
We're looking for someone who not only brings technical expertise but also has a growth mindset and a desire to help us expand our Survey business unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical responsibilities
- Supervise and manage field survey crews and office staff
- Oversee and review boundary, topographic, route, and as-built surveys
- Prepare and certify plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define survey scopes
- Develop and provide cost and time estimates for survey services as part of project planning and proposals
- Support business development efforts and contribute to the strategic growth of the Survey group
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and professional standards
- Travel to project sites across Texas as needed

Expected:
- Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) licensed in the state of Texas
- Minimum 3 years of land surveying experience, preferably in oil and gas or industrial sectors
- Strong working knowledge of modern surveying instruments, CAD software, and GIS tools
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to the growth of the business unit
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Texas
- Licensure in additional states
