General Description
The Entry Robotic Welder role is responsible for independently setting up equipment fixtures, tooling and running product components to standard.
Accountabilities
- Understands how to correctly use the following functions within JDE programing (i.e. sending Kanban cards, tracking Kanban card status and history.)
- Utilizes and maintains Drawings, Non-Cad Process Sheets and Operating Instructions
- Powers up and prepares the robot cell for production, such as; powering up robot, power supply, turns gasses on
- Changes torch tip and shield nozzle and changes out Shielding gas 12 packs.
- Correctly identifies Wire and Gas types
- Ability to recover from an emergency stop such as; light curtain fault, door key alarm, and inadvertent E stop.
- Uses a variety of hand tools when appropriate to perform various set ups and adjustments.
- Independently sets up and runs 3 different parts
- Demonstrates consistency in practicing all safety procedures.
- Identifies material types and practice proper disposal of scrap.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
- Completes all required work within expected time requirements with excellent quality.

Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1- 3 years of experience operating and setting up a MIG welding robot. Ability to program is a plus.
- 1- 3 years of experience conducting manual MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot MIG and TIG welding operations.
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 60 lbs
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Knowledge of basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Ability to understand manufacturing processes such as Kanban, JDE, BOM viewer, method sheets, etc.
- Ability to read, write, and simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check screen, and motor vehicle screen (if applicable)
