Baer is looking for SAP P2P Technical Developer for a 9+ month Federal remote project.

Title: SAP P2P Technical Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 9 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Overview

Owns the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of moderately complex RICEFW objects within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain. Translates functional requirements into scalable, reliable, and supportable SAP technical solutions while ensuring adherence to development standards, performance expectations, and operational excellence.

Description:

• Design and develop RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Produce technical designs covering data models, error handling, logging, security, and restart/reprocessing mechanisms.
• Build and support inbound/outbound integrations using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and middleware technologies with robust validation and reconciliation.
• Develop enhancements using User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework components.
• Support data conversions, mass loads, transformation logic, balancing, and audit-ready reconciliation outputs.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and promote reusable technical components.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, deliver fixes, and support hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Architects, and Integration Teams within Agile Scrum delivery processes.

Requirement:

• United States Citizen with Active Secret Clearance
• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Hands-on experience developing RICEFW objects in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• ABAP Objects, Reports, and Enhancements
• BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework
• IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and integration technologies
• Data migration, conversion, and mass-load solutions
• Performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of SAP MM, Purchasing, Invoice Verification, Vendor Management, and related P2P processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
