Description:
Our client is currently seeking a School Nurse (RN) to serve as the primary healthcare advocate for their student body. You will manage daily clinical operations, provide emergency care, and ensure the campus remains a safe, healthy environment for learning. This is a critical role that balances clinical expertise with a passion for supporting student success and well-being. #Education

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Supervision: Supervise and provide clinical guidance to health aides, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), or other support staff as required by school protocols.
• Direct Clinical Care: Administer medications, provide first aid, and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Health Management: Lead health screenings, manage immunization compliance, and maintain confidential electronic records.
• Advisory & Leadership: Educate the school community on wellness and supervise health support staff as needed.
• Safety Oversight: Implement infection control measures and monitor the campus for health risks.
• Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between families, staff, and external healthcare providers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's (BSN) or Associate Degree (ADN) in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and health technology.
• Reliable transportation (car or public transit).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with students and families.
• Deep knowledge of state health regulations and nursing best practices.
