Senior Accountant

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Accountant to support one of our clients in managing complex accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional looking to join a dynamic organization with room for impact and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and accruals as needed
• Assist with audit preparation and serve as a point of contact for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and assist with special projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and management teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
