What will you be doing?

This Client Insights role supports leading global prestige beauty brands by delivering insight-led solutions and thought leadership that shape brand and retailer strategies. The position plays a central role in Circana's strategic relationship with a global prestige beauty brands, operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy while partnering closely with leadership. The role leverages point-of-sale (POS) and consumer data to deliver actionable insights, guide executive decision-making, and identify opportunities to expand how Circana supports the client. The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, confidence working directly with senior stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that drive action.

Success in this role requires comfort navigating ambiguity, owning day-to-day client delivery, and proactively connecting clients with the right Circana teams, tools, and solutions. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and syndicated data tools (Circana, IRI, NielsenIQ) is required, with panel data experience a plus.

Location: NYC Metro area strongly preferred for occasional visits to client office.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana's data, platforms, and software solutions with client strategic goals. Proactively surface growth opportunities through insight-led recommendations and strong account planning.
  • Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex POS and consumer data into clear, actionable insights that inform executive decision-making. Create and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly insights presentations aligned to client priorities and evolving business needs, moving beyond reporting to implications and recommendations.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams including Client Insights, Product, Analytics, Solutions, and Thought Leadership to deliver integrated solutions. Navigate Circana's internal resources to connect clients with the right teams, tools, and expertise at the right time.
  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in retail, beauty, and wellness to provide relevant context, anticipate client needs, and position Circana as a trusted thought partner.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key and senior stakeholders across client organizations through confident executive presence, clear communication, and consistent value delivery.
  • Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana's proprietary platforms, including Unify+, Liquid Data, and Intelligence Suite, to support insight delivery, client engagement, and solution adoption.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Support individual and team revenue goals through disciplined account planning, pipeline contribution, and opportunity identification tied to client needs.
  • Champion Client Success: Own day-to-day client delivery with a high degree of autonomy, proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Support Innovation and Feedback: Provide client and market feedback to internal teams to help refine offerings, inform product development, and support innovation.
  • Advanced Analytic Skills: Conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses focused on consumer solutions, providing clients with clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience using data and analysis to drive client value in a client-facing or consultative environment.
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated data tools such as Circana, IRI, or NielsenIQ; panel data experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience creating clear, executive-ready presentations.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and executive presence when engaging clients and stakeholders.
  • Relationship-oriented with the ability to build trust and credibility across client and internal teams.
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Interest in or exposure to the beauty, fashion, or wellness industry strongly preferred.

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, NYC Metro Area (occasional visits to client office).

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
