In this Principal role, you will bring strategic insight, energy, and technical expertise to develop high-performing teams and deliver exceptional environmental solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners through networking, outreach, and consistent communication.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Lead project teams, inspire collaboration, and ensure high-quality execution.
• Manage team workload, provide coaching, deliver feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee project performance, including budgets, schedules, profitability, and resource planning.
• Support business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities with current and prospective clients.
• Lead or support proposal development, cost estimating, and project reporting.
• Contribute technical expertise to environmental projects such as:
- Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Soil, vapor, and groundwater investigations
- Remedial action planning and oversight
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables and service excellence
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience aligned with the duties listed.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional Geoscientist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience working with industrial, energy, agricultural, or commercial clients.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and staff development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with new contacts.
• Experience supporting business development initiatives.
