We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.
Meet the team:
We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer! Join a diverse and dynamic team of manufacturing process and equipment engineers and get your hands dirty supporting a mix of manual and highly automated equipment.
As a Sr Process Engineer, you will bring together mechanical, systems, electrical measurement, robotics, software, UX and data informatics to deliver a sustainable manufacturing process and build high-tech medical device products on a global scale.
Where you come in:
• Lead cross-functional technical problem solving using structured methodologies and advanced statistical analysis to resolve complex issues through deep root-cause understanding.
• Serve as a hands-on technical expert for manufacturing and laboratory equipment, ranging from manual to semi-automated systems used in chemical manufacturing, analytical testing, and electrical measurement.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and sustain chemical manufacturing and laboratory equipment, including material handling systems, sensors, test fixtures, and analytical and electrical measurement platforms (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography, electrochemical, and enzymatic)
• Design and implement equipment and process improvements that enhance product quality, improve measurement capability, increase throughput, and reduce cost and variability.
• Develop a robust understanding of process and measurement input/output relationships, supporting IQ, OQ, and PQ activities, measurement system analysis, and the development of risk-based control plans.
• Collaborate closely with Regulatory, Quality Assurance, R&D, Process Engineering, and Operations to ensure compliant, capable, and scalable solutions that directly impact product performance and patient outcomes.
• Author clear technical documentation, including work instructions, test methods, validation protocols, and engineering reports, and provide training and coaching to technicians and operators on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Contribute as a senior technical member of a diverse, global organization, supporting knowledge sharing, standardization, and technical excellence across sites.
What makes you successful:
• Demonstrated experience driving improvements in equipment performance, analytical and biochemistry measurement methods, validation, and chemical manufacturing processes.
• Strong application of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement tools (e.g., DMAIC, root cause analysis, statistical data analysis) to resolve complex equipment, process and measurement-related challenges.
• Deep technical knowledge of process characterization, SPC, DOE, and measurement system capability, with hands-on experience in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
• A systems-level engineering mindset, enabling effective integration of chemical processes, analytical and biochemistry measurement systems, software, and human interaction.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, change-driven environment, independently prioritizing technical work while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex technical concepts across disciplines.
