Senior Sales Engineer - Federal
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
We are looking for a passionate Senior Sales Engineer (SE) - Federal based in the Washington, DC Region to join our Federal Team and help prospects and clients understand the true value and capabilities of Ivanti solutions. You will be the primary technical advisor for your Federal customers, and their technical advocate within Ivanti.
• Lead the technical pre-sales process working closely with Federal Account Executives.
• Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
• Develop and deliver outstanding Ivanti presentations and demonstrations.
• Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process - from initial discovery to close
• Advises internal and external clients on overall federal specific technology requirements and technology architecture
Job Requirements
• Pre-Sales experience with Endpoint Management, VPN/Network Security, Service & Asset Management Software, or Patch Management technologies
• Partner with the regional sales team to develop strategic and technical account and territory plans.
• Federal experience in either Civilian, DoD, or Federal Systems Integrator (FSI) markets
• Customer engagement - Must meet with potential customers to understand their endpoint, cybersecurity and service management needs, challenges, and infrastructure, ensuring that our solutions are the perfect fit for them.
• Product demonstrations - Provide live demos and proof of value for our technology and cyber solutions, tailoring each demo to the specific needs and concerns of the potential customer.
• Hands on experience implementing solutions in complex government environments
• Knowledge of systems architecture
• Project Management skills
