We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Systems Engineer to lead enterprise-level systems deployment, optimization, and support. Key Responsibilities

Design, Install, and Maintain Infrastructure
Lead the deployment, configuration, and upgrade of enterprise infrastructure applications, virtualization platforms, and Windows operating systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Continuously monitor system health, conduct testing to anticipate potential failures, and recommend or implement preventative measures. Provide swift and effective resolution of complex hardware and software issues.

Documentation and Compliance
Develop and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation, including system configurations and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal standards and best practices.

Technical Leadership and Mentorship
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, guiding junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment. Lead projects related to virtualization, server hardware upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.

Virtualization and Hardware Expertise
Install, upgrade, and support virtualization software and hardware hypervisors, with a focus on VMware environments and physical server infrastructure.

Cross-Department Collaboration
Act as a technical liaison across departments, translating complex technical concepts into understandable guidance, and fostering cooperative relationships to support organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills -
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field combined with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on systems administration experience. Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience emphasizing virtualization and physical hardware management.

Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server OS administration and best practices
- Strong expertise in virtualization (VMware preferred) and hypervisors
- Experience with server hardware, storage solutions, Active Directory, and blade enclosures
- Familiarity with networking concepts and multiple operating systems

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to lead projects and guide team members effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to technical challenges
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 - $74.00 Hourly
