Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Simulator Mechanic.

Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire
Duration: 06months
Location: Tampa FL 33614

As a Simulator Mechanic you will be:

• Read work orders, follow production, and sample assemblies, diagrams, parts lists and receive verbal instructions regarding duties.
• Measure parts to determine specified tolerance.
• Read precision measuring equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints to fabricate complex assemblies.
• Fabricates parts from raw materials.
• Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot faces bolt holes in parts.
• Position and align parts.
• Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together to close tolerances.
• Disassembles and replace parts as required.
• Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.
• Marks identifying information on parts.
• Inventory assigns toolbox and sign inventory sheet.
• Assist in tool room inventory.
• Assist in simulator teardown and packing of simulator components for shipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Airframe's portion of the FAA A&P license preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 + years' experience in aircraft structural repair or flight simulator assembly.
• Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one situations with other employees of the organization.
• Good knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical hand tools and be able to effectively use them (Hammers, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and scales, pneumatic and electric drills, rivet guns, fastening tools such as clamps and clecos shop equipment such as drill presses, brakes, and shears etc.).
• Have a sound understanding of military and commercial workmanship standards.
• Willing and able to assume work assignments away from the facility for extended periods, for site installations and be willing to work rotating shifts.
• Able to work from parts lists, assembly drawings, schematics, and engineering orders, engineering change orders, engineering logs, workmanship standards and manufacturing procedures / work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for time reporting and work order processing.
• Perform work assignments with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:
Additional skills or experience that would be considered favorable for a candidate who is applying for this position.

• Operate a Forklift
• Operate a Scissor lift.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $25 to $28/per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
