Sr Data Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to analyze data and support our decision-making processes while working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

• Extract and cleanse data from various sources to prepare for loading into a data warehouse.
• Perform system development life cycle functions including project planning, requirements analysis, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain production reports using statistical reporting tools.
• Analyze paid and denied claims to ensure compliance with data standards.
• Collaborate with team members to identify system changes and enhancements.

Skills

• Five years of experience in data analysis and processing within a data warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL, and TSO in a mainframe setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with healthcare data and understanding of relevant regulations such as HIPAA.
• Knowledge of statistical reporting tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
