Sr. IT DevSecOps Engineer

Join our team as a Sr. IT DevSecOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing our Jira Cloud environment. This position offers the chance to collaborate with technology and DevSecOps teams to drive innovative solutions and enhance platform reliability.
Responsibilities

• Administer and enhance Jira Cloud instances, ensuring efficient user management and robust security protocols.
• Design and maintain project workflows, screens, issue types, and notification schemes to boost operational efficiency.
• Install and configure Marketplace apps/plugins to meet diverse project requirements.
• Monitor system performance and implement strategies for optimization and reliability.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge articles to support user training and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with technology and DevSecOps teams to implement scalable solutions and improve workflows.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and governance standards across the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.

Skills

• Extensive experience in Jira Cloud/SAAS administration.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira workflows.
• Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL) and permissions management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (ACP-620) or similar certification.
• Experience with Jira Service Management and IT service management frameworks.
• Familiarity with integration of Jira with enterprise applications and third-party tools.
