Sr. Manager, Market Intelligence - Industry Measurement & Analytics

As the Sr Manager for Market Intelligence - Industry Measurement & Analytics, you'll lead Best Buy's shift from outsourced market measurement to a modern, model driven capability that serves as the enterprise source of truth. You'll build and continuously refine a measurement ecosystem that unifies internal and external data into clear, actionable insights for merchandising, finance, marketing, and executive leaders. You'll also steward key industry data partnerships and shape data monetization opportunities while guiding a cross functional transformation that elevates accuracy, transparency, and decision speed.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll doLead the end to end transformation to a robust, model driven industry measurement and market share capability. Design, build, and optimize market measurement across data acquisition, engineering, analytics, and visualization. Define and maintain methodologies, quality controls, and documentation; test and refine as markets and data evolve. Oversee external data partnerships and drive data monetization strategies that maximize the value of Best Buy's data. Partner across data engineering, data science, and visualization to ensure integrity, scalability, and adoption; recruit and develop the team as the capability scales. Basic qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or related field7 or more years of experience in a corporate or management consulting environment3 or more years of experience in Market Intelligence or partnering closely with Market Intelligence teamsPreferred qualificationsMaster's degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or related field Experience integrating external industry data and building multi‑source market‑share measurement solutionsProven track record standing up new capabilities and leading large‑scale transformationsWorking knowledge of applied analytics/ML and coding (Python, R, or SQL) and BI tools (Tableau or Power BI)What's in it for you
