What to Expect

The Strategic Planning and Governance Manager will lead the annual strategic initiative process across the company. With an understanding of HCA's business, this role will work with department leadership to gather and set department goals (MBOD's) and provide ongoing performance updates. This role s accountable for leading the month end closing process for all investment expenditures and supporting the financial monitoring and financial governance of all investment initiatives.

What You Will Do

1. Lead the month end closing process for all investment expenditures. Ensure accuracy of month-end reporting and capitalization process by working closely with project managers and various business units across the company.

2. Lead the annual strategic initiative establishment process. Work with HCA leaders to align on Strategic Initiatives/MBODs for HCA, Divisions, and Departments. Consolidate, analyze, and validate business accomplishments for key initiatives and KPIs for Mid-Year and Year End evaluations.

3. Manage and monitor the company investment budget through all stages of a project/initiative lifecycle (i.e. approval, spending analysis, and benefit realization). Responsible for leading the annual planning and forecasting process for investment spend.

4. Drive corporate meeting agendas to review strategic initiatives by coordinating with cross functional leaders to gather priority topics for senior leadership discussion and ensure accountability by following up on critical action items.

5. Collaborate with Hyundai Capital America's regional headquarters and global business division to develop strategic content for global business reviews. Partner with cross functional leaders to develop content for monthly CEO business updates for global business division.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 5-7 years' progressive financial and/or analytical experience within an auto finance or financial institution.

• Automotive or financial services industry preferred.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• MBA or comparable advanced degree in finance a plus.

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate with leaders across all business units.

• Must have strong critical thinking skills to use business knowledge and financial knowledge to drive business decisions and solve problems.

• Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with all leaders throughout the organization and with our global business division.

• Must have the ability to work independently and drive automation of routine tasks.

• Must have knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

• Requires strong Microsoft Office 365 skills: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and SharePoint.

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
