Location: Independence, MO

Salary: $83,000 - $110,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available up to 1 day remote per week

Focus: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll drive the hiring strategies that fuel Winchester's business goals. You'll lead full-cycle recruitment for key roles, build strong partnerships with leaders, and deliver proactive sourcing solutions that strengthen our workforce today and for the future.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversees the full recruiting lifecycle from intake to hire, focusing on candidate experience, quality of hire, and process improvement.
  • Partners with Hiring Managers and HR Partners to shape an engaging hiring process, provide market insights, and offer data-based recommendations that challenge assumptions.
  • Builds qualified, diverse pipelines through sourcing, networking, and relationship building, proactively pursuing innovative sourcing strategies and community partnerships.
  • Maintains and updates the applicant tracking system and job files in compliance with hiring policies.
  • Completes Affirmative Action data roll-up for external hires and internal competitive moves.
  • Supports on-campus recruiting efforts and manages assigned intern/co-op processes, leader communication, and engagement to grow Winchester's campus hiring program.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Minimum Requirements:
  • Must meet one of the following requirements:
    • High School Diploma with 5+ years relevant experience; OR,
    • Bachelor's/master's degree* with 2+ years' relevant experience (Human Resources or Business preferred).
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring exempt candidates; manufacturing/industrial recruiting strongly preferred.
  • Experience with an OFCCP-regulated employer and/or knowledge of OFCCP regulations strongly preferred.
  • Strong client relationship skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent Winchester professionally.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and multi-task efficiently.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time and possess a valid US driver's license.
