Treasury Analyst (onsite/hybrid)

Position Overview
As a key member of the Treasury team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world. The Treasury Analyst completes the Transfer Pricing process, provides customer support and completes loan data and financial market analysis as assigned.
Job Functions*
Customer Support
- Maintains customer relationships and responds to questions regarding transfer pricing, lending products, custom quotes, rate locks and market expertise
- Explains Treasury policies and procedures relating to transfer pricing, including product and MCD assignment, fee structure, contract servicing actions, ongoing monitoring and control processes
- Prepares and provides educational material and other data intelligence to associations, AgriBank Asset-Liability staff, and Treasury management
- Recommendations appropriate topics for discussion in newsletters, manuals and other communications
Loan Data Analysis
- Utilizes query/reporting tools to mine information and formulate necessary analysis
- Modifies system and processes as directed to accommodate new loan products or changing market risk elements
- Scrubs loan data and ensures its integrity before staging it for AgriBank's Asset Liability Management (loan funding) and Asset Liability Risk Measurement analysis
Financial Market Analysis
- Compiles financial market data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to build yield curves for use in pricing AgriBank's lending product offerings
- Assesses and evaluates the market data
- Identifies trends, irregularities and risk factors
- Identifies and recommends changes to yield curves, liquidity premiums and call premiums used in AgriBank's pricing models for lending products
Transfer Pricing Operations
- Completes day-to-day transfer pricing operations including calculation and publication of the Marginal Cost of Debt (MCD), resolving exceptions, identifying and calculating wholesale fees and monitoring the lending contract portfolios for adherence to Treasury policies and procedures
- Determines whether MCDs are appropriately calculated and uploaded into the Funds Pricing System
- Applies approved changes to bullet and callable curves used for pricing
Custom Quotes and Fees
- Executes the custom quote process for assigning Marginal Cost of Debt (MCD) and fees to large contracts based on valuation of underlying debt and embedded options for the specific structure of each contract
- If necessary, makes decision on course of action for MCD adjustment, product adjustment, fee waivers (up to $10,000), additional fees required or other course of action
Lending Product Pricing
- Maintains models for the pricing of lending products, ensuring key pricing assumptions are used
- Documents operational processes for pricing new products as needed

Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- 2 years of related experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Knowledge - Basic knowledge of interest rate markets, loan products, structures and financial options
- Basic knowledge of financial theory and concepts
- Basic knowledge of ICFR, model risk management and maintaining proper control environments
- Intermediate knowledge of descriptive statistics
Skills - Basic proficiency with structured query language (SQL) and relational databases
- Intermediate proficiency in querying large data sets
- Intermediate proficiency in office software Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

The typical base range for this role is between $63,000 - $95,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
