Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for both 1st and 2nd shift positions in La Vergne, TN.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
Meet the daily order deadline by efficiently transferring and compiling parts according to a system-generated pick list. Ensure parts are kitted, labeled and packaged according to department specifications.
- Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal, incremental deadlines
- Accurately complete applicable paperwork or QMS updates
- Ensure parts are kitted, labeled and packaged according to department specifications
- Read, understand and follow work instructions related to assigned tasks
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
This is a fully on-site contract opportunity. Monday-Friday.
Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm
2nd shift: 4:30pm-1:00am
The right candidate must have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment; hearing protection as required
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit, and climb for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities
Pay rates: - 1st Shift: $18.50/ per hour
- 2nd Shift: $19.00/ per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
