Volt is immediately hiring multiple Warehouse Leads in Fremont, CA.
As a Warehouse Lead, you will:
- Perform all responsibilities associated with the Warehouse Operations Coordinator role proficiently, including utilizing systems like SAP for inventory management, stock transfers, and process documentation.
- Oversee and manage the warehouse process, ensuring all orders are prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Lead the warehouse team, maintaining adherence to procedures and policies while onboarding and training new employees on operational standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of warehouse employee information, training documentation, and compliance measures.
- Manage email communications and provide operational support across departments, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer and auditor inquiries during audit periods, providing accurate and timely information, and assisting in coordinating audits.
- Enforce safety protocols, promptly addressing violations and reporting non-compliance, including SOP or safety deviations, to management.
- Collect and review weekly 5S checklists from each team; verify compliance with 5S standards during operations.
- Monitor task progress, address delays, and adapt to dynamic situations with flexibility and problem-solving skills to meet objectives on time.
- Assist the inventory/warehouse manager in daily operational tasks.
- Assist with general office administration and operational coordination to maintain seamless daily operations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm plus overtime.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 - 5 years of related experience with leadership abilities
- Experience with SAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and related software preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual preferred (not required) in any of the languages but not required (Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin or Cantonese).
