Job Description
Area of Accountability:
Weld metal parts per customer specifications utilizing various welding techniques. Assist in welding process utilizing robotic and hand welding skills as well as identify weld quality.
Major Responsibilities:
- Accountable for quality inspections before and after the weld.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Transfer and lift sub-components to the line.
- Operation of Robotic welders.
- Maintain Internal Hendrickson weld certification.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Ability to pass 2G welding test.
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
- Ability to work overtime as production demands require.
- Must be able to demonstrate good mechanical skills.
- Results oriented.
- Hands-on, systematic individual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Associate degree in related field a plus for promotional opportunities.
