Safely - set up, operate, shut down and CIP the evaporators in a satisfactory, economical and quality manner, maintaining required solids and chemical concentration and pH targets. Grade and test milk products feeding and discharging from the evaporator. Follow and monitor proper CIP and cleaning procedures and also housekeeping duties of the area. Responsible for filling crystallizers and setting the appropriate cooling rates for the crystallization of whole whey, deproteinized whey and Lactose in preparation for drying.

Specific job selection criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  
• Mechanical abilities and understanding of Evaporators;
  
• Computer proficiency
  
• Good communication skills
  

Pay Range: $30.67 - $36.14
