A property management firm in Long Island City is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This role reports directly to the Controller and offers strong visibility within a growing organization.

The Accounting Manager will oversee all general ledger operations, including leading the month-end and year-end close processes, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. This role will also manage payroll-related accounting, support audits, and partner closely with AR, AP, and Cash Management teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public and private background, a CPA, strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606), and prior team management experience. Experience with NetSuite and strong Excel skills are preferred.

This role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Long Island City, and offers compensation up to $150K base plus bonus. Apply now for immediate consideration!
