Join a fast-paced marketing agency as a Copywriter focused on B2B events, conferences, webinars, and professional audiences. This remote contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled writer who can turn business objectives into clear, compelling copy that drives engagement and action across digital channels
Responsibilities

• Write and refine copy for digital marketing materials including websites, landing pages, paid media, social content, emails, direct mail, brochures, and ads.
• Develop messaging that speaks to professional and B2B audiences, with an emphasis on event promotion and attendee acquisition.
• Collaborate with account, creative, and traffic teams to align copy with project goals, timelines, and brand needs.
• Use creative briefs and project details to shape strategic, audience-focused messaging.
• Track project status, communicate updates, and help keep deliverables moving forward in a deadline-driven environment.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency with style guidelines.
• Participate in kickoff and client meetings as needed and contribute to a smooth cross-functional workflow.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality work and strong responsiveness.

Skills

• 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong digital copywriting skills across web, paid media, and social platforms.
• Experience creating copy for B2B events, conferences, webinars, associations, or professional organizations.
• Ability to write concise, persuasive, and audience-appropriate messaging.
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfort working with creative briefs, deadlines, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, dependable approach to collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in writing, English, journalism, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Portfolio examples that highlight copy for attendee acquisition, industry events, professional services, or webinars.
• Familiarity with AP style or other copy style guides.
• Experience supporting fast-moving agency accounts with shifting priorities.
• Background working with clients across multiple time zones.
• Experience creating copy for marketing initiatives that require clear, direct calls to action.
