Be the Calm in the Crisis - Make a Meaningful Impact as a Crisis Clinician - Youth
Schedule: Monday, Thursday and Saturday 9:00am - 9:00pm.
Join a compassionate, mission-driven team responding to youth in behavioral health or substance use crises. As a Crisis Clinician - Youth, (Internal Title: Triage Clinician) you'll be at the front lines of care, conducting assessments, supporting youth aged 5-17, and guiding them toward stabilization and healing. Working in our Youth Behavioral Health Urgent Care (YBHUC) center, you'll help ensure youth in rural communities receive timely, person-centered, and trauma-informed support-without unnecessary hospitalization or law enforcement involvement.

Key Responsibilities - Assess youth in crisis alongside a nurse to determine clinical needs and next steps.
- Serve as the primary assessor for youth in urgent situations, completing intake and diagnostic assessments.
- Guide the flow of care at the YBHUC and coordinate referrals both internally and externally.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with agency and state standards.
- Collaborate with community partners and support seamless transitions of care.
- Ensure culturally responsive, strengths-based support for youth and their families.
- Support the YBHUC team with data collection and provide virtual crisis support to other locations as needed.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise• Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a human services field required
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMinimum of two years of experience working in Crisis Services if a bachelor's degree is the highest level of education obtained
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION If a licensed therapist, must have one of the following:
• PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT
If a QAP, must have one of the following:
• CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP
