Title: DB/C Developer

Important Skills
Technical - DATABUS Development experience
Soft- Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work cross-functionally.

Need:
- Hands-on experience supporting and developing applications using DB/C (DATABUS)
- Deep understanding of legacy data bus architectures, data flows, and control logic.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, stabilize, and maintain aging systems.
- Experience debugging performance and data integrity issues.

Nice to Have:
- Experience migrating applications from DB/C to .NET.
- Experience working with or for federal/DoD programs.
- DB/C -> .NET migration project experience, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Systems programming experience (C/C++, or equivalent legacy languages)

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands on support for applications built on DBC / DATABUS (DB/C) technology
* Maintain and stabilize legacy systems during the transition period
* Support the organization until successful migration off DBC is complete
* Assist with the conversion of one application from DBC to .NET, including:
o Knowledge transfer
o Code/data mapping
o Supporting refactor or rewrite efforts
* Collaborate with modernization and application teams to ensure continuity and minimal disruption
