Position Overview:
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join their client's team in California. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can effectively manage dispatch operations and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the daily dispatch of drivers and vehicles.
- Monitor real-time logistics and adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer needs.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, providing them with accurate and timely information.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and driver logs.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during dispatch operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Hours:Standard work hours, Monday through Friday, with potential for occasional overtime or weekend work as needed to meet operational demands.
