In-House Real Estate Paralegal

A national corporation is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal to join their team in their corporate office in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

• MUST understand and be able to monitor the entire commercial/corporate real estate process- due diligence review, contracts, closings, post-closings etc.
• Handle all developments- mostly retail stores, some oil leases
• Draft purchase agreements after compiling information from businesses
  • Purchasing property- some leases
• Letters of intent
• Title commitment & survey review
• Ability to communicate with whoever is necessary, including engineers, brokers, etc.
• Handle Secretary of State and IRS filings
• Will monitor some IP work for companies

Qualifications:

• Experience is more important than education
  • Looking for AT LEAST 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate at a law firm, corporation, title company, developer company, etc.
  • Preference for trust/estate experience - will be assisting w/ highly confidential bill, tax returns, etc. for the family that owns the business
  • Preference for trademark experience
• Ability to work fully in-office in DT Denver to start
  • Ongoing will be able to work 3 days per week in-office and 2 days per week from home
  • ~45-hour work week
• Self-starter, integrity, quick learner, responsible
• Tenure with previous employers
• Looking for someone that will be interested in taking on additional responsibility as they master each set of skills

Salary: $90-$115k/yr.
