Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Health and Human Services Maintenance and Operations Lead within our team. Please note that this position requires a commitment to full-time employment and is not open to contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the growth, delivery, and ongoing operations of Health and Human Services (HHS) client engagements, with a focus on maintenance and operations (M&O) activities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for HHS clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with agency leaders, business stakeholders, and other key decision-makers.
- Support business development activities within the HHS market, including identifying opportunities, developing client strategies, expanding existing relationships, and supporting the pursuit of new business.
- Develop and execute account and client engagement strategies aligned with organizational capabilities, client priorities, and market opportunities.
- Partner with internal delivery, technology, consulting, and business development teams to develop solutions that address client needs and support successful program outcomes.
- Oversee and coordinate ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and operational activities for HHS technology programs and solutions.
- Monitor client needs, program performance, risks, and emerging opportunities, identifying areas for improvement and additional services.
- Translate complex business, policy, and technology requirements into actionable strategies, solutions, and recommendations.
- Lead or support client meetings, presentations, demonstrations, briefings, and other executive-level engagements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Contribute to proposals, statements of work, account plans, presentations, and other business development and client-facing materials.
- Support strategic planning and the development of innovative approaches, offerings, and solutions within the HHS market.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and subject matter expertise to teams supporting HHS clients and programs.
- Maintain awareness of HHS industry trends, client priorities, emerging technologies, and evolving business and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience in consulting, technology, public-sector services, business development, account management, program delivery, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with Health and Human Services organizations, government agencies, or other public-sector clients.
- Experience supporting or leading business development, account growth, client relationship management, or sales activities.
- Experience managing client relationships and engaging effectively with senior-level stakeholders and executives.
- Experience overseeing or supporting the maintenance, enhancement, and/or ongoing operations of complex technology programs or systems.
- Strong understanding of business processes, technology solutions, and the relationship between business needs and technology delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical, business, or policy concepts into clear recommendations and actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience working across multidisciplinary teams and organizational functions.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with state or local Health and Human Services agencies.
- Experience with large-scale public-sector technology programs, including integrated eligibility, social services, Medicaid, child welfare, public health, or related HHS systems.
- Experience leading maintenance and operations or continued enhancement activities for enterprise or mission-critical systems.
- Demonstrated success identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing client accounts or markets.
- Experience developing account strategies, capture strategies, proposals, statements of work, or other business development materials.
- Experience working with systems integrators, technology vendors, consulting organizations, or strategic partners.
- Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data and analytics, or other modern technology solutions.
- Experience translating government policy, regulations, and business requirements into technology or operational solutions.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership, government officials, or other senior stakeholders.
- Experience developing thought leadership, industry offerings, or innovative solutions for public-sector clients.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, human-centered design, business architecture, or enterprise solution architecture.
- Experience building and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $220,000.00 - $275,000.00.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level
09 people leader in a Business Development position.
