Job Description Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Director for North American Plants is a strategic leadership role responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives at the executive level. This role involves driving organizational transformation, overseeing HR functions, and fostering a high-performing, engaged workforce.
Job Description
- Manage and develop the Plant HRBP team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior leadership and executives to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational success
- Lead and design initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, strategic workforce planning, culture, and change management.
- Act as a senior advisor on complex employee relations issues, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Serve as a point of contact for leaders regarding organizational talent needs, gaps, and resolutions.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development planning.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to position Lamb Weston as an "Employer of Choice" and deliver programs that build pipeline talent for the organization (e.g. internships, rotations, etc.)
- Collaborate with and influence the Centers of Excellence to support strategies/programs regarding employee engagement, staffing, organizational design, talent management, training, compensation & benefits, labor relations, change management, and diversity & inclusion.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
- Implement enterprise-wide HR policies, practices and programs with the supported organizations
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience leading HR strategy across multiple manufacturing sites, ideally 5+ locations.
- Demonstrated ability to balance standardization with site-specific needs, ensuring consistency while supporting unique plant requirements.
- Extensive experience working in unionized environments, preferably with multiple unions and contracts.
- Strong knowledge of collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance handling, and labor negotiations.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, change in a dynamic business environment as well as conflict management and mediation skills.
- Proven track record of driving strategic HR initiatives and leading organizational change.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws

Pay Rate or Range: $160,070.00 - $240,110.00
