Manufacturing Quality Specialist

Job Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to independently execute quality assurance processes, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with oil and gas industry regulations. In this role, you'll be the guardian of our quality standards, working across projects to maintain ISO/API compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive inspections and audits across various projects
• Analyze quality data and recommend effective corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with ISO/API standards and oil & gas regulations
• Prepare detailed QA reports and maintain thorough documentation
• Review manufacturing and supplier documentation against engineering drawings and quality plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Serve as documentation representative during client, contractor, and vendor interactions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization

Qualification Required:
• University Degree/Diploma with 2-4 yrs related experience
• May have Master's/Grad Degree & 0-2 yrs experience
• QBE - Qualified by Experience
• Competent in the use of computer software applications used for administration, including Microsoft Suite and Adobe

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with Oil & Gas manufacturing company.
• 2+ years' experience with manufacturing company in QA/QC function.
• Experience with JDE ERP and Power BI.
• Proficient in reviewing mill test reports, NDE reports, and other quality documentation.
• Experience scanning, uploading and maintaining records
• ASQ CQA and/or CQI.

Skills Required:
• Capable of working with minimal supervision or direction.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner, and to work collaboratively in a team-focused atmosphere. Team player, self-starter, data driven.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Requires excellent technical writing and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a high energy environment.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles.
• Computer literate, advanced proficiency of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, engineering drawings, and blueprints.

Skills Preferred:
• Knowledge of electronics and PCBAs.
• Knowledge of IPC standards IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, GR&R, process flow map, and control plan.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as SPC, Cpk, Ppk, ANOVA, and pareto.
• Proficiency developing reports with Power BI or similar software.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1 and Q2 requirements.
• Experience managing calibration program.
• Experience in process improvement.
• ISO 9001 or other industry standard QMS audit training/experience/certification, proficiency in formal auditing techniques.
• Presentation skills enabling effective demonstration of concepts, findings and recommendations to management, Customers, external agencies and auditors.
• Skills in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.
