Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Software Developer within our team. Please note that this position requires a commitment to full-time employment and is not open to contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy quality Java applications.
  • Ability to understand the requirements and implement as directed.
  • Develop J2EE applications with well-designed code, which is reusable, maintainable, and easy to understand (efficient code), and have excellent Problem-solving and code debugging abilities.
  • Ability to develop User Interface pages using PrimeFaces.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud-based solutions, and integrate with internal systems and third-party platforms.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues and software defects.
  • Deploy the artifacts in the JBoss server and manage the JBoss application server.
  • Implement best coding practices, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in developing a data service layer with JPA.
  • Maintain technical documentation and participate in agile / waterfall development processes.
  • Ability to write simple and complex SQL Queries.
  • Work with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology.
  • Ability to adapt well to diverse environments.

4+ Years of experience in the job duties listed.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $93,000.00- $$152,500.56.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributorin a Software Development position.
