Volt is immediately hiring Test Operator Supervisor in Fremont, California 94538

As Test Operator Supervisor, you will be responsible for.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising the test operations team.
• Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
• Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well understood.

• Supervising test operations and maintaining manpower schedules.
• Monitoring WIP (Work in Progress) and output, identifying bottlenecks, and adjusting resources, as necessary.
• Evaluating testing stations within production to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires including job training.
• Cooperating with multiple departments to conduct troubleshooting, NPI (New Product Introduction), and DOE (Design of Experiments).
• Maintaining and providing support for all 5S programs.
• Attending daily production meetings, reviewing input/output according to production plans.
• Evaluating the performance of leads and operators.
• Developing corrective action plans to address testing or employee issues.
• Ensuring team members follow safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) requirements and guidelines.
• Monitoring and reporting any issues related to production, safety, and employee relations to the management team.
• Troubleshooting test operation problems, including those related to material, employees, processes, and machines.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or above.

• 2 years of relevant working experience in the high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Required: Computer and electronics knowledge, supervisory experience.
• Good verbal and written English skills, bilingual capability.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Manage 25 - 30 Operators + 2 leaders or tech level
• Understand the 5S, SOP, RC/CA analysis
• Able to work from Tuesday - Saturday

This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
