HireGenics is immediately hiring for Senior Operations Scientist.

First shift 8am-5pm

Pay: $46.19 per hour.

6-12-month Contract opportunity with possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Validation & Process Excellence (Primary Focus-Lead and execute validation activities including Operational Qualification (OQ), Test Method Validation (TMV), Performance Qualification (PQ), and Process Validation (PV).
• Develop and run validation protocols for reagent manufacturing processes such as mixing, pooling, and cleaning
• Evaluate chemical solutions and ensure processes meet quality and regulatory standards
• Data Management & Analysis Collect, manage, and synthesize large data sets from manufacturing events
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate trends, insights, and conclusions
• Track critical process parameters (CPPs) and critical quality attributes (CQAs)
• Apply statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) to support data-driven decision-making
• Study Design & Execution Author study protocols, execute experiments, and interpret results
• Design and manage Design of Experiments (DOE) for reagent combinations, concentrations, and operating conditions
• Present findings and recommend process improvements based on data

Additional Responsibilities

• Create and revise technical documentation including SOPs, specifications, validation reports, and risk assessments
• Utilize Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with site procedures
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and Quality teams to drive innovation and efficiency
• Maintain best practices in lab environments, including contamination control and safe handling of reagents and fluids

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific discipline
• 6+ years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or R&D
• Strong experience with process validation (OQ, PQ, PV highly preferred)
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP
• Hands-on laboratory experience and comfort working in a lab setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a scientific or technical field
• Experience in diagnostics, immunoassays, or related technologies
• Background in data science or data visualization
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project)
